About Amelie Anastasia
Amelie Anastasia is an Author and Philanthropist
Amelie is passionate about writing and supporting animals, from wildlife to shelter pets looking for homes. Amelie uses her writing talent to bring attention to the lives of animals from the wild woods of her Fox Tales series to the animal shelters that may just be taking care of your new best friend, just like the amazing characters in her new book, Shelter Dogs. Amelie was awarded the Pawsitive Impact Award for her work in advocating for animal rescue and fundraising for rescue in her community by the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society.
Amelie is also passionate about encouraging other young people to embrace the power of their voices. She started her own podcast, What's Up Young Authors! to help showcase the work of other young authors and encourage them to write, publish and promote their work!
You can also follow Amelie's efforts promoting animal adoption on NoMi Stories, where she shares the stories of adoptable dogs in Northern Michigan who are looking for their furever homes:

Giving Back!
Philanthropy is at the forefront of everything Amelie does. At the annual Howl at the Moon Fundraiser for Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, the unique opportunity to name two characters in Amelie's upcoming book, Shelter Dogs, were auctioned off to raise an impressive $9,000 for the shelter!
Fundraising efforts for LTBHS have now surpassed $12,000 with the Shelter Dogs book project.
Shelter Dogs is a great way to fundraise for animal shelters while promoting animal adoption. All profits go to support local animal shelters! Contact us to learn more about how to bring Shelter Dogs to your shelter, store, school or library.
