Amelie Anastasia is an Author and Philanthropist
Amelie is passionate about writing and supporting animals, from wildlife to shelter pets looking for homes. Amelie uses her writing talent to bring attention to the lives of animals from the wild woods of her Fox Tales to the Animal Shelters that may just be taking care of your new best friend!
Amelie is also passionate about encouraging other young people to embrace the power of their voices. She started her own podcast, What's Up Young Authors! to help showcase the work of other young authors and encourage them to write, publish and promote their work!

Amelie donates part of her proceeds from each book to worthy causes such as schools, animal shelters and toward creating a wildlife preserve to protect animals like the characters in her book!
Giving Back!
Philanthropy is at the forefront of everything Amelie does. She is currently working with the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society to raise money for the shelter and the animals they care for! At the annual Howl at the Moon Fundraiser, the unique opportunity to name two characters in Amelie's upcoming book, Shelter Dogs, were auctioned off to raise an impressive $9,000 for the shelter! Shelter Dogs will be sold at the LTBHS and part of the proceeds will go to helping care for the animals in the shelter.
