Amelie first donated to the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society when she was 4 years old, personally delivering a donation before the winter holidays. At 10 years old, she donated the opportunity to name two characters in her upcoming book, Shelter Dogs, for the annual fundraising event, Howl at the Moon, and raised an impressive $9,000 for the animal shelter! After two years of interviews, writing, illustrating and designing, Shelter Dogs is almost here: ComiJuly 2026 in bookstores and shelters!
